I’ve seen the power of great leadership to create cultures where intelligence is matched by humility, ambition by purpose, and accountability by trust. I’ve also experienced what happens when those things disappear: work becomes transactional, people disengage, and even talented organizations can lose their way.
Those experiences have shaped how I think about leadership, organizations, work and success.
GoodHuman is an expression of that perspective — through teaching, advisory work, thought leadership, convening and service.

Over more than 25 years, I’ve worked across Fortune 100 companies, nonprofit and educational organizations, and board leadership, including senior leadership roles at American Express, Charter Communications and Educational Testing Service, where I served as Chief of Staff to the President of the Institute for Student Achievement. My work has spanned strategy, partnerships, organizational leadership, marketing and communications, education and social impact.
I currently serve on the boards of the Sisulu-Walker Charter School of Harlem and the UNC Chapel Hill College of Arts & Sciences Foundation, and remain active in community service and education.
